Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

Campers play a variety of games, sports, and activities throughout the day. Our goal is to provide an environment for campers to feel safe learning new activities, stay active, unplug from electronics, have fun, and make friends. The weekly theme drives different events, competitions, and games so each day is a new opportunity for fun and learning. Campers grow in self-confidence and experience physical, social, and emotional growth for a lifetime of success. We welcome all levels from beginners just starting out to more experienced athletes. Ages: 4.5-14 years old. Full day (8:30am-3:30pm) and half day (8:30am-12:00pm) options, extended stay available from 7:30-6pm. Sibling discounts. One-week sessions begin in May and run through July. Dino Summer camps

Have a Dino enthusiast that needs to explore there inner paleontologist this summer? Pangaea introduces it’s brand new summer camp program to not only teach, but entertain kids all week and help them discover the prehistoric world like no one else can!

This year’s camp is all about finding out what it takes to creatively care for animals. Campers will explore habitats, learn how animals survive and thrive and learn about the many ways zoos create habitats for animals.

All campers will meet animals up close, play in our splash pads, and have opportunities to collaborate with other campers through different activities each day. Campers will also tackle design challenges related to their theme, incorporating STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) principles and going through the design process. They’ll use what they learn about the animals to create real-world solutions and top off the week presenting their design.

Due to high temperatures in the summer, at least half of the camp day is spent indoors, with opportunities to expand indoor time as temperatures rise.
